Track Work/Speed Strength
Distance: 4:38 milesTime: 55:33
Comments: The workout kind of loomed over me all day due to the difficulty I've had over the past few weeks. Speed/Strength is always the toughest workout of the week and that's even worse when the temperatures are past the century mark. It's not that I was dreading it, I just was a little concerned of how my performance would be.

I started off a little slower than normal hoping for consistency throughout. I had a bit more control on the running portions, I think, but still found myself dragging pretty hard on the back 200m of the latter ones. I really didn't think I pulled that final speed strength lap in that slow.
The final speed lap went a hell of a lot better than I expected. It is a bit encouraging to have that much muster after this workout. Of course that also suggests I should be pushing harder during the workout itself.
